Nordnorge
Just back from “Nordnorge” ( northern norway) after 15 days of sun ( no rain at all !!!) which means : 24h times 15 of sun and a good tann : yes up north, you never loose the sun , you are lost because of it…. willing to do a hike or a climb at 10pm : it is too long !! no worries, you won’t be much colder and forgetting your headlamp is just as normal as putting proper shoes… No need for it : midnightsun is your friend ! So stop talking , first thanks to those who made this trip as funny as comfy !!! Daniel, Sindre , ilje and Reinjeer among the numerous people. Scandinavian culture
The last picture made me think i should speak about the scandinavian culture influences and espacially about something that stunned me. I thought that it would be a big difference between Norway and Sweden but i was told by norwegian that the actual culture difference occurs from south scandinavia to north. Scandinavian culture : Basically as you might know Sweden has governed over Norway for some centuries and the cultures has been merged. Norwegians can indeed easily understand swedish, the written swedish is also really similar exept some letters changes : the norwegian “ø” become the “ö” like in german and the “ä” letter appear among the most important changes. Danish is also similar but much easier to understand by norwegian when written. The dannish accent is really strong and makes it sometimes really blurry… Lapland (Sami) Though the main culture shift is remarkable far north thanks to the sami…
